Britt’s Goals

Goals are so important to have in all aspects of life. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about all the different fitness related goals I’d like to accomplish, eventually. I find it’d best to write goals down and check them off as I go. Writing down goals makes them concrete and help them actually get accomplished.

I’ve  shown myself that I can do anything I set my mind to.

A few years ago, never in my wildest dreams, would I have though I’d be writing this list. These are some things I’d like to accomplish sometime in my life time. Some seem like they may be far from where I am at this point and some are right at my fingertips.

Run a 5k

Run a 10k

Run a Half Marathon

Run a Full Marathon

Run an Ultra-Marathon

Complete a Sprint Triathlon

Complete an Olympic Triathlon

Complete an Off Road Triathlon

Complete a Half Iroman

Bike a Century (100 mile)

Complete a trail run ultra-marathon

Win first place in  a running race in my age group (20-24)

Win first place in a running race in my age group (25-29)

Win first place in my age group in a triathlon

Run a 5k at a pace less than 7:00 min/ mile

Run a 5k in under 20 minutes

Run a half marathon in 1:45

Run a double digit run at a pace less than an 8:00/mile- almost there!

Run a marathon at a pace less than 9:00 min/mile

Qualify for the Boston Marathon (3:35)

Run the Boston Marathon

Run the Houston Marathon

Run the Woodlands Marathon

Run the Chicago Marathon

Run the New York Marathon

Run the Cowtown Marathon

Complete the Goofy Challenge

Complete the MS 150

Complete the Warrior Dash

Complete a Rock n Roll half or full marathon

Run the Pikes Peak half or full marathon

Complete 100 push ups in a row

Run a race with my Hubby

Conquer Crow Pose

    I love your goals! What a great idea! I so want to do the Goofy Challenge one day, too! =) Do you read That Pink Girl’s blog? She’s running an Ultra in two weeks. Eeeek!

      Thanks so much. The goofy challenge sounds like so much fun. I found a similar race in Seabrook where you run a 1/2 Sat and a full Sun. or you can do a 1/2 Sat. and a 1/2 Sun. Sounded like a good challenge and close to our area. I actually found your blog from That Pink Girl’s. So exciting about the ultra. I can’t wait to hear how that goes. I’d love to do that one day!
